Not one post about the stock going through the roof - is it possible that Charlie is actually doing something right?? No, he was not hired to make your life beautiful. He was hired to turn this company around, and it certainly feels like he must be doing something right. $55??? When was the last time you saw the stock price this high?? Of course, we would rather talk about bad bosses and horrible environment, return to office and all other BS.

If that’s all you care about, that says everything about YOU.
Now would be a good time to sell your 401k ESOP before the next scandal hits.
Are you forgetting about the game changer credit card he introduced? Revolutionary vision that is for sure!
He's gone longer than ever before without horribly missing earnings estimates or insulting a minority?
Tell us, before earnings come out, what does the world think Charlie has done that would justify an increase in stock price?
Hey OP, read the room.
First, the stock price had nowhere to go but up, like the rest of the market.
That's the rising tide floating boats thing you always hear about.
Second, and most importantly, people here are a might bit peeved that they're paying the price for Stumpf and the rest, people with golden parachutes living the good life while everyone they left behind is worried about next months bills.
Instead of a perp walk the ringleaders are golfing at the country club, and thousands who did nothing wrong have had their lives trashed.
Cheer the stock price all you want, but my dude, you are seriously uncool.
Economy goes down. Banks goes up ^.
It isn't the leadership.

why invest in a "capped" stock when it's outperformed by other banks???
because its what they 'give' me. I certainly don't buy it. all I usually have is the match.
why invest in a "capped" stock when it's outperformed by other banks???
I love how trolls come on here and say they wouldn't do business with Wells Fargo. Its obvious they're not employees worried about a layoff, they likely got fired or they're from another bank. No one who works here currently had anything to do with your stupid dummy zero balance account opened up 8 years ago. They've all been fired, replaced, replaced again, and replaced again.
@uoa, I agree. People are ignorant. They either don't read or listen. And maybe they do, but they don't comprehend the magnitude of the fraud. They may not even care. I don't understand it at all. I don't step foot in a WF branch and never will.
The stock is going up in spite of Chuckie, not because of his total lack of leadership and direction. This is called a sector rotation and a rising tide lifts all boats even those with a sh---y captain.
Yeah right, Chuckie did it. Nobody wants to work here anymore, morale is horrible, and they still can’t find a CISO.
Is that you Chuck?
Seriously OP, come back singing his praises when we hit 65 where we were before scandals, asset caps and COs. You must be one of the boomers counting your nickels before retirement so happy you've been inadvertently thrown a bone by these zillionaires that don't care about us TEAM MEMBERS.
I can't imagine doing business with Wells Fargo after all those account fraud shenanigans. Guess some customers have short memories.
Hey, this is great. Another 10-15 points and it'll actually catch up with the last couple years of inflation! Until then, still negative.
Currently, the Wells Fargo stock is directly correlated to the 10 year treasury yield.
The 10 year treasury yield today is about where it was in 2016 and so is the stock price. Overall the 5 year return on WFC is flat to -1%. Big deal.
If the 10 year continues to melt up. The price will follow. Expect a drop on or before earnings next week and expect a huge recession if the 10 year plows over 5% or 6% in the next year or two.
Love WFC stonk , apes to the end!
@zcg+1eHMbuBn You said it perfectly bubba
Stock is dirt cheap, likely one of the cheapest large cap stocks based on fundamentals. Will likely double or triple easily in 2022 if rates keep moving up as expected to fight inflation and will explode higher if the consent order is lifted. Given Charlie has gotten rid of every last former executives, even layers down, he's well on track for making political actors happy. Risk is cleaned up, orders are getting checked off. He's expanded in higher margin products and business. Might be best stock to hold in the SnP.
When it comes to stock, you want to buy low and sell high.
Tons of stock grants vest in 6-8 weeks. Charlie has to cash out some how, so he’s driving the price up. The bank is a mess and more regulatory scrutiny is going to hit hard.
Oh yeah, it’s something Chucky’s doing. 😂🤣
You have to wonder why is the stock going up so much? It went up a ton last year and that was not because of rising rates. Asset cap is still on, that’s not a positive. Still have a bunch of consent orders. Let’s see what happens with the earnings report this coming week.
When he started over two years ago it was 48 a share, that's when we didn't even have a CEO. Two plus years later its 55.. whoop-de-doo. That's with the some yield curve lift and margin improvement. If he doesn't get the consent order lifted he sucks, they would have been better keeping the fill in lawyer. But most this depends on what the regulators think, and its been hush hush way to long, Bill Daley sure hasn't proved his worth.
All bank stocks are going up together. It’s not like WFC is doing something different.
