I'm dreading RTO so much that every time I hear about a new variant I get excited because it most likely means we'll be working from home longer. How messed up is that?

OP you're not alone. I feel guilty to say I got really excited when, in the same week the company was ramming RTO down our throats, we started hearing about Omicron. I don't feel guilty to say I was THRILLED to see WF have to backtrack on RTO. Now for them to get a clue this is the future of a work force.
