COVID continuing to mutate is a good thing. It's what viruses do, and as they become more communicable they become less lethal and the population's collective immune system gets better and better at fighting the virus off. At this point, the media is pushing fear because it sells, and that's all they care about. There's no more journalists anymore, and people know it. It's why trust in media has tanked to all time lows. Politicians want control and dependency. Pharma wants sales at any cost. Hospital administration wants 'free money' from the government. It's pretty clear what the motivations are and what their resulting narrative will be. Some doctors and researchers are starting to speak out, and with each one they attempt to "cancel", the more believable those voices get. I smell a rat.
