I know many getting to CL 27 by age 31 to 32. Many of these have Masters degrees and start slightly higher in level.

Hol up. What’s the entry CL of a fresh graduate in Houston?
Measure it by the soul-sapping.
If your soul is easily tapped - just out of school - you'll be 26@28, 27@32.
And on up till soul is totally sapped out at CL30.
For further advancement, it's based on your golf and/or bbq game.
My CL progression has not been linear. I have had periods where CL moves have been very far apart and very close together. It is hard to extrapolate, especially if your ranking is moving around.
Depends on performance trends, there’s a matrix with constraints to follow (unless you’re one of the chosen ones). Some won’t smell 27 by end of career, some will get it by mid 30s.

Comparison is the death of joy.
If you don’t hit 27 by late 20’s or early 30’s you are just a run of the mill employee. Don’t harbor aspirations of being a HiPo.
32 for 26, 36 for 27
I know someone thar took 4 years to get 3 cls promotions, year 1 Cl25, year 2 cl26, year 4 cl 27
I saw somebody took 3 years, somebody took 11 years. In the past, most people retired at 27.
The time to be promoted from a CL26 to a CL27 has increased. You will be fortunate to retire at a CL27 level after 30 years of service. Few will work for our company 30+ years going forward.
What the he-l is wrong with you? A Career is a journey not a race.
@OP What the F* is wrong with you? For people like you - either tomorrow or never.
WTFC.
For much of EMIT, never
I was 38 when promoted to CL 27.
