I’m glad I left this toxic dumpster fire. I make more money, appreciated and got a sizable bonus after taxes and I’m not management.

Other companies realize it’s more than leadership that drive the boat and they appreciate you for it, it shows. Not just a $5 gift card.

I’ve also been promoted once & was stagnant at Allstate for 5 years…. I’ve been with my new company 6 months..

Get out.

USAA, Geico and progressive all pay end of year bonuses which are $5,000 to $8,000 before 30% taxed, still good though ! I’ve worked at USAA then here and now with progressive and my buddy just left Allstate and is now with Geico in claims.

@csh+1eDf5SHq you keep believing that, and I'll keep watching 5-15% of my annual salary getting deposited every year, depending on how well the company did. There are all sorts of comp situations in the world. And no, I'm not mgmt.

Its because you are a for profit company. Your bosses get that money instead. Just about every major insurance company offers some form of yearly bonus to its claim handlers based on yearly results. I actually cant believe Allstate doesnt...pretty sure they use to give nice bonuses back when they were a mutual a decade ago.

This is pretty standard practice these days.

Companies that pay bonuses for anything beyond referrals are few and far between.

It’s a laughing stock here for many reasons. Bonuses are one of them. Don’t waste your time working here any longer than absolutely necessary. You will regret it especially now that India will be taking over claims and you will be laid off anyway. It will look better on your resume to get another job by choice before that happens instead of waiting like a victim.

It's expensive. Different companies have different philosophies. Some only value their leadership team.
If you want the bonus as a worker bee, then go to a company that pays them, is all I can say.
