@5jhu-what kool aid are you drinking? Stock market at all time high, wages across all industries highest on record, personal wealth at an all time high, home values all time high, job creation at an all time high, unemployment nearing a 59 year low. These are not lies as you call them. They are facts available for anyone to look up. Are there other problems sure, but these are easily verified, numerical facts where records exist for 6 decades or more…..

Funny how the fear mongers and DC lovers tell everyone the economy is great and to go find another job. Corporate minions who buy into the Biden Harris lies. Look at the jobs report, your 401K, and all the rest of the key economic indicators. Do not listen to the elites. They want you to be the minion of their Marxist America Plan. Heck! They've even come right out and said it. Know they enemy.

Depressed is exactly how a caucasian insurance wagie SHOULD feel , with random doses of fear and uncertainty thrown in. Wage On. The reset is real.

It is hilarious and entertaining to read these posts about how overworked and miserable some employees are but with no ability to change jobs. As an earlier post pointed out they are the definition of insane.Over 4.5 million people quit their jobs in November but not these self imposed prisoners…..

Why are people staying at jobs they don't like and then complaining about them
during the hottest job market in decades? Why don't people show ownership of their destiny and get a new job?

From the executives' standpoint, everything is working just fine as their bonuses are rolling in. They are able to achieve the operating ratio at the expenses of the frontline employees through mandatory overtime. They won't care until all wheels fall off the wagon, and by then, they will be gone counting their bonuses whilst leaving the hot mess for another administration. There is no question that this is unsustainable pressure cooket working environment.

@cqy Not only do they endorse it, they perpetuate it day in and day out. The same regurgitated bu-----t every single day about how we “need to come together” and “work as a team to achieve our goals”. In actuality those two aforementioned statements translate roughly to “we have 8 CS out again today so we need you to pick up the slack” or “so and so has 22 tasks out of SLO so we need you to clean that up”.

I remember distinctly seeing an email from leadership saying “non-optional overtime is not meant to be a sustained method in order for us to achieve our targets.” Yet nearly 6 months later here we are, still on non optional overtime, and management still spewing the same nonsensical rhetoric that they’ve been spewing for the past 5 years.

So, to any management shill that may read this comment I ask:

If non-optional OT is not meant to sustain then what is the plan going forward? Specialists and associates alike haven’t heard a fu----g thing from the top down in months and it’s about time we had a straight answer.

And this is more of a comment than a question. A wise man once said “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result”. So why continue to perpetuate the same bu-----t each and every day expecting the ones who keep your collective as--s out of the fire to continue to believe your half truths and fallacies?

Low morale is the result of poor leadership and if leadership endorses their current behavior it is a recipe for failure.

Things will continue to get worse…mandatory OT….as they do not have enough employees in any dept to do the job adequately..while comtinung to grow policies providing poor service

Dxl is right. Morale is low across all of claims and management acts like it's still 2019 and we aren't understaffed and that more overtime is the answer

No, I enjoy my work, I have multiple friends I see everyday and I have health insurance, a little life insurance, a 401K, a pension, paid vacation and while I will never be rich I have a decent income.

They can send some claim jobs to India but they can’t determine liability especially in licensed states.

I am vacationing out now with a retirement date after the bonus. Can't do this any more. Someone in upper Mgmt. needs to really look at the Claim work environments before it collapses completely. Morale in Injury is in the negative and they act like nothing is wrong. I don't get it. Adios.
