I have never had a positive experience with HR in this company. I'm interested in how these people get to the HR position in the first place. I know that they are not there to protect the interests of employees, primarily the company, but the question is how much do they even protect the interests of the company by working in this way? It seems to me more and more that they are only protecting their own interests.

I personally was rescued from an abusive manager at another company. The manager was eventually fired. HR was a witness to his abuse. Granted, that was a few years back, but I believe that HR actually does do work at some companies.
Not true at Orahole. HR does nothing there, they don't even protect the company.
You join Oracle HR when these things happen in your career…
Marry the cool sales guy who actually can’t sell.
Not good enough looking to be a trophy wife and gotta earn your keep.
You are a man or woman who just can say “I understand”
You have issues hardwiring your iPhone to the usb plug.
You did it at 20 other companies.
You are in 1995 and think you matter.
You turn your computer on but just hang out in your phone for 7.59 hours a day.
Granted. I’ve worked at other companies where HR actually stood up for the employees. If ur managers were roasting you, oracle HR would grab a stick and 20 marshmallows for their HR to be kids.
Who knew Oracle even had an HR department 😂😂
Got news for everyone - HR represents the company, not you. Oracle is probably worse than most, but that's the way it is everywhere. If you have complaints about your manager, they don't care.
It’s “embarrassing” to them bc they know it’s true
Removing posts is made to keep Oracle endoctrination.
Apparently they remove posts!
Once again the Karens aka HR have deleted the posts lolol boohoohoo
I had a recent experience. Short version of how it went.
1st Stooge - HR noob tells me “I don’t think you have much of a case. I’m sorry but I will have to close your case.”
Me - please escalate”
2nd Stooge (first stooge boss) - “I’m sorry. I don’t believe you have a cases I’m sorry you were mistreated and abused. Here are some links to mental health services. Take care.”
Me - “please escalate”
3rd person (see I said person)…One level below Safra. I swear on my life. Listened to my entire story, was truly empathetic, on actual call asked if we could look at my compensation since I was lied to and mislead about a promotion and we were about to go into it and I said, “thank you for your time but I’m telling you all this because it’s true and you can believe me cause I gave my two weeks Monday.”
Oracle HR are as guilty as the abusers that are brought to them. They are some of the weakest people at any level there. They stay tight to people who allow them to shut things down and vice versa. And these people really don’t know the mental state of these people who have been through sh-t, but what goes around comes around.
What’s up w HR gettin bu-t hurt when ppl talk about them on here? They’re clearly the ones deleting the comments lmao
Seriously?? I suppose this comment speaks well to the overall quality/intellect of the average Oracle employee nowadays.
Here's a tip: there is an open seat for you over at the Oracle Q board - maybe you should go over there and engage.

The op is right. They don’t even protect the company from lawsuits. Look at the nonsense spouted by the HR lady in the case with SPMK. They could have prevented a lawsuit by investigating TG but they didn’t want to get involved. That HR lady should be fired. They are largely incompetent people who need to work somewhere. They do not add anything to the company they just do whatever they are told by the highest ranking manager and try to pretend they are doing work. I complained to one myself and got thirty minutes of legal cr-p read to me. They did not listen at all to what I had to say.
Ha! Ha! -
HR must be looking at this..there are 3 down votes and 0 up.
This question has been posted here many, many times before. Their sole purpose is to prevent employee lawsuits against the company.
Try to keep up.
