Lets be honest we all knew that "Work from home for the holidays"
Was a prettier way of saying that "We screwed up and shouldnt have forced you back so abruptly"
I love watching this poor management team backpedal.

Sometimes the company pays the employee's bills. Like the company will pay for the private use of the corporate jet. Maybe the poster was thinking of that level of employee?
Just a teeny correction. An employer does not pay an employee's bills. An employer pays for an employee's skills and time based upon an agreement to do so. The employee then uses that money as he or she sees fit. They way your phrased your response speaks volumes.
Since when have companies allowed people to work from home to balance the demands of the season? There was a corporate reason for this, I do not believe for a second that the primary reason was as stated. My hunch is that they were / are concerned about lawsuits.
Associates were allowed to work remotely around the holidays to help them better balance work with their personal life during a hectic time of year. You complain. Associates were then asked to work remotely for the first two weeks of the year while we increase the safety of our offices for their return. You complain. If you want to work remotely on a full time basis, find a job that offers full time remote work. Why constantly complain and criticize the leadership of the company that is paying your bills? When you are CEO you can make whatever decisions you want, but until then you'll have to play by the rules of the company you work for.
FrankServ is really showing its true colors lately. Frank probably honks his clown-nose while drafting new destructive policy.
