Some people of closing branches received emails offering them to do temporary remote work for the helpline . They would receive 2,500 if they completed the 4 month work assignment. The team mates will then be placed in a branch within 25 miles from there home.

It was a 2,500 bonus in addition to there current salary.
I think it means 2500 in addition to current salary.
2500 for 4 months is like $625/mo or like $30/day or about 3.5/hr.
If you value your time for $30/day before tax, then please go ahead and sign up for that, it is very generous from Bill R.
The question I have is why would you keep working for such a low pay at a mediocre bank? You should take branch closure as a blessing and move on to a better company for a better pay. Upskill yourself, learn a new trade and become a better paid specialist that earns liveable wage
