Couple these and few hundred more buzzy words with with right, ok/k, like, and/ummm and that is the context for most meetings.
New one I’ve started heard this week. “Big Rock”. Heard it multiple times in 2022 planning calls.
Dang dog, that's a good one! Grad school paying real dividends.
To be honest with you, the fact of the matter is, at the end of the day, it is what it is.
At the end of the day, we'll circle back on the pain points in the customer journey and move the needle.
How about, "that's the fact, jack"
or how about "the peanut butter won't be spread evenly"....
Anybody remember "peel back the onion", or the "shifting paradigm"? Any time you hear your "leadership" using any of these buzzword terms, it simply means that they heard it in a meeting from one of their superiors and think it really means something. And it makes them sound really smart when they say it! Ask them to explain it, then sit back and watch the hilarity!

I have a PhD from UT Austin and believe me when I write that these "coded terms" are not taught in Graduate School.
This might be appropriate to some flunkies (nee so called Exec. types) spouting vitriol during a town hall or equivalent to a supposed clueless audience.

As long as they stop referring to inanimate objects as “se-y”, I’ll listen to whatever else they want to say.
