If you are this worried about it, please consult an attorney. No one knows if you will be getting paid, maybe they will try to say you're faking the disability. Don't trust at staying on payroll.
HR doesn't actually know disability laws. They might just try to see if it will cost more money to go to court or get information out of you.
Seems like a question you should be asking your HRBP or attorney, rather than a message board laden with D-Bags.
let me clarify.i have been on disability for the past three months,1st month being hospitalized..my question is will I be put on unpaid leave come the feb1 deadline. I will not get vaccine regardless. just want to know if I will be getting paid for the duration of my disability, which dr says could be another 7 to 9 months.or will I be removed from payroll when I come back.
Brandon just said you need weekly boosters...
FETCH BOY... FETCH!!,
There's a gooooooood boy
No vaccine means no job at some point. If you get COVID since you dont want the vaccine, don't seek medical attention, don't go to the ICU, Covid virus is just a myth even though almost 800,000 have died. Keep drinking the Kool Aid with Bleach.
Uncle Ted has special injection for you from his magic candy cane!
It'll make you feel good, and it's free.... No need to worry about insurance.
You just can't be too old
MERRY RIFMAS!
Dying from the virus is going to cost them more money(life insurance) for your family, than paying for your broken leg.
You are a liability to the company.
The real answer is:
Yes, you will be kicked off disability if you don't get the vaccine. There is a government mandate to get vaccines, and to them you are just a number on a piece of paper.
In reality HR doesn't care what happens to you.
HR's job is to keep the company together. I wouldn't look for answers on this message board.
What are you even talking, how does breaking a leg have anything do to with getting a vaccine for a virus?
Are you asking people, if you die from the virus?!, will your broken leg have anything to do with it?
Ask HR, not anonymous internet dudes.
You won't need to be. Just wait. Judges keep overturning the non-law. It will eventually be in all 50 states & territories soon. Just a matter of time.
- A judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky on Nov. 30, 2021, issued a preliminary injunction, halting the government's enforcement of the federal contractor vaccine mandate on federal contractors and subcontractors in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.
- The judge addressed the narrow question of whether President Joe Biden could use his congressionally delegated authority to manage federal procurement to impose vaccines on the employees of federal contractors and subcontractors.
- This vaccine mandate requirement is now "on hold" for contractors and subcontractors in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee. It is expected that the government
will appeal the judge's order to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
