The only incentive is to do enough not to get fired. That is not a recipe for success.

im a top performer, i flat out stopped trying because it doesnt benefit me at all pay wise 🤷🏻♀️
Instead of giving out first place trophies to the top performers they give everyone participation awards so everyone's feelings don't get hurt. How woke is this company? Verizon is under performing due to the goal to build up the bottom feeders instead of letting the sharks feast.
Remember when this was a "performance based company" and "results matter" ? I guess the only thing that matters now is the bottom line.
Performance based pay is what gasp drives performance. Instead we have a worthless comp plan with expectations that don't align with compensation. Twice the work, half the pay.
