Baytown, CL26 excellent 3%......
I hope 95% of the comments here are trolls. If not, then lol this is the way I go out
CL 27, US l, excellent, 1%. HANDCUFFED now. Very disappointing and demotivating. Time to coast until retirement eligible now, really didn't want to go out this way.
If interest rates start rising, we could see a big retirement surge in 2022 and 2023. Low pay raises means everyone is near their highest three year average. All the poorly ranked RE and those between 52 and 55 will be forced out by rising interest rates over next couple years
@urq+1e592EMy CL 25 for 5 years, late 30s
Spring, CL28, NSI $0
So I'm confused, who are the ones that are encouraged by their raises then?
@lsk+1e592EMy how long were you a CL 25 and what is your age?
3% for VG is not going to make many people happy.
Spring, promoted from CL 25 to CL 26, total ~8 percent increase, so ~3 percent ex-CL bump… Excellent in 2020 and VG in 2021
If you dropped in ranking then you get 1%.
Baytown, CL25, O, 7%
Baytown, Oustanding, CL24. 2.75%
CL 23 Spring, VG, 3.25%.
Yep @puc - another CL27 here, last four years: exceptional, outstanding, exceptional, oustanding... I've got 3% and I agree with others, this is dismal.
Likely those cl27s are all old timers hence with golden handcuffs and xom knows it. So dirty
Based on data points so far all of the cl27s with outstanding are getting sh-t. Cl27 maybe the cut off for good raises
CL27, Outstanding three years in the row. 2.25%. As other said, with prices at this level and a raging inflation, this is an insult at best...
What was percentage for CL bump? I heard 5%?
1% - Houston - CL27 - VG (upper 3rd every year except for this year and last) - >55 yo - > 20 years with EM - #exxodus
Is there a way to find out on raise amount? Boss is a jerk so I’m sure I’ll find out about it on Jan. 15.
Spring, CL 23, VG, 2.5%.
Clinton, CL17 (technical OCA) climbed a level in rank. 3%. Pretty shocked and disappointed but not surprised.
Wow what a joke. DW has his head up his a-s if he thinks anyone is happy with 1%. Can’t wait to see the next mass exodus, which I suppose is what management wants considering the minuscule raises.
CL 23, mostly VG, 35% raise + bonus (left the company).
@uil+1e592EMy Did they also foreshadow with “I think you will be happy with the raise…” BS? Still waiting on mine but that’s all I’m hearing from management
@uil+1e592EMy - this may have something to do with Xom lowering upstream salary band?
@dwu+1e592EM 7 years at CL 25. I’m 39 at year end. Was slated for bump in 2020 during the freeze.
@ HOU CL28 are you retirement eligible or at least close to that (50-54)? This might be the strategy. You all wouldn't leave even without any raise....
Ranked E last year, O this year / CL 27 / US Upstream Engineer in Spring / 1.2% raise. Very surprised and disappointed....
Looking at these comments, I’m not having high hopes
@nra+1e592EMy - lucky you got a promotion to CL26..may I ask how old are you and how long have you stayed at CL25 ?
HOU CL28, Outstanding (many years in a row), 1%, 300 RSU. 1%, really. Hoping to make it to retirement.
@CL25 Spring—
How many years did you do at CL 25?
CL26, 20 years.
2022 raise very low.
But negotiated a buyback of my XOM shares!
5,000 of those distressed tickets - they will buy them back at $75 USD per share.
I suggest you negotiate something similar with your Admin.
Yes, promotion to 26, should have added that.
@cl25 spring - 9% included cl bump?
Baytown. very good. CL24. 1.5%
RSU won’t be communicated to you by your direct supervisor, most likely. This will be communicated to you by your L2 or L3 and is usually a separate discussion to salary treatment discussion. Unless they changed it this year, RSU won’t start until CL 26 and ranked Outstanding.
CL 25 here in Spring. 9% raise after ranking VG. No RSU though. It’s enough to get me to stay, which I suppose is the purpose of a raise.
