Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Vaccine Exemption a Joke?

Put in for religious exemption a month ago and nothing. Now I've heard it will be by end of year..
F.I.S. will be firing all unvaxxed by end of year.
After the holiday sales start slowing down.

The writing is on the wall. Takes 30 days to be fully vaxxed and that would mean everyone that got denied would need to get their first dose on Dec 4th.

@1zqy+1e3Wecmr; Why don't you pull yourselves up by the bootstraps and find another job?

I have no problem finding a job and actually lost prospects while waiting for this "review" of my faith.
To can someone at end of year is the worst time to find a new gig.
A two month lead time or pay would be great, assuming they are going to blanket reject all that are still pending.

Also, I was not asking for a ted talk motivational comment, just any insight on how exemption are going and if I should suspect to be laid off after Xmas.

I'm pretty sure they will at this point.
Prior to finding this site yesterday, I figured I was stable.

Merry Christmas, yah filthy animal.

To those who have had their religious exemption approved. Can you please share what Fiserv has directed to you after the approval? Are they saying you will be WFH forever? Are they saying you are WFH for the foreseeable future? Are they saying you will have to come in at X date with extra PPE? Anything helps.

Is Fiserv still holding on needing the jab by 1/4?

Simply request a religious exemption and say the decision is between you and God. Don't mention any specific denominations or figures.

I've heard some religious exemptions have been approved. I've heard some are being delayed for 120 days then they will be up for review again. I'm guessing any rant type RE is being postponed right now. This is because of the litigation going on in the courts. If the courts rule against OSHA & Fed Contractor mandates they will have to back pedal. Seems like a legal nightmare on their end. I know associates who are vaccinated but have 100% WFH exemptions. I doubt they can catch 22 with the requirement to be in office.

And no, you can get he J&J in the middle of December. Furthermore, if you read the fine print of the EO from Joe you'll see that nobody should be getting fired as RE's are being reviewed or appealed. If the RE is rejected the EO stipulates that Fiserv should provide counseling to push them to be vaxxed.

They want you to leave the company during the uncertainty. It makes the legal issues a lot easier for them. Keep doing a good job at work. Make sure you're not idle to long. Don't give them any reason to fire you besides your "vax status." Them firing you after your RE is rejected is grounds for religious discrimination. They don't get to play the sincere religious beliefs police. If your RE is good they have to honor it. Civil Rights act points that out plain and clear. Hold onto what is right in your heart. Stand for what you believe in. Don't let this get to you. Stay positive.
