Is how some people from the exact same office have to move to New Jersey or be fired. But others from the exact same office can stay remote. It’s extremely equitable and easy to explain.

I know someone who is taking the relocation package and going to NJ. They have been with the company a while and are very knowledgeable. However, I think its a HORRIBLE mistake because the cost of living increase is going to ki-l him. Its literally like 35%-50% higher cost of living and he will be getting only 10% raise? People do what they need to do but NEVER EVER be afraid to look for another "door" and walk through.
