If you resign, and you’re not part of the RIF, do you have to give 2 weeks or 4 weeks notice?

Ask HR rep. They can answer that question
All the RIF people won’t get AIP, since they were released before 12/31?
@6fki+1e0lfNOI, in order to get your AIP one must stay through Dec. 31. It’s very likely that the opt outs and RIFed will be released early. We’re hearing Dec. 18th, so those folks get a free “vacation” within their 60 day notice period, prior to their January end date. I know several who are looking internally but have not found anything. Also know a few RIFed two years ago that were released very early in their 60 day notice period and later found something internally and came back. They were paid the entire notice period even if they didn’t work.
If we’re not working through dec. 31, then we don’t get the AIP in March, correct? And if we do end up working through the 31st, do they just send us the AIP or deposit it our bank account?
I don’t think many. I think most people opted out and they get to receive their severance. That’s a lot of money lost if you didn’t take advantage of it.
Wonder how many people are going to give their two weeks notice before the end of the year
