"The chef's kiss was when he ended the call on how difficult this is for the ELT. Give me a freakin break. Gee Chuck, don't you think it's harder on your employees who you are hanging out to dry?"

For a company that states they are so focused on mental health, they sure have te--orized a lot employees and their families this week.

Someone asked the question in the meeting, but they ignored it, wonder why? Question asked "if we're all fully vaccinated, can we return the office now?" It's a good question, you know, if the vaccine works and it's 'protecting' everyone.

Those who make hostile comments in the check-in chats against those who have a medical or religious reason to get an exemption should be fired. They are creating a hostile/toxic workplace environment. They are also in violation of the ADA and EEOC regulations.

CISCO ELT, you are on notice. FYI, my spouse works for the government in a role that is involved in this area.

We are not in a pure capitalist economy. There is a spectrum and we are in the middle.

Cisco needs people to enter their status into workday ASAP because they were going to blanket deny accommodation request. Now they need to know they number because they don't know what to do.

Cisco extended the date for their mandate, and is now losing control. The ELT is putting profits before people and their rights. Cisco has a way larger number of people that are "non-compliant" than they thought, but now realize that just because people are vaccinated does not mean that they agree with the mandate or violation of peoples rights.

Employees who have largely been silent for too long out of fear of retribution are speaking out and standing up. Chuck tried to shame people today into giving up their rights and complying. Let's see what happens next.

Wow - scary that so many Americans are so selfish and ignorant. Even more so that so many of them work here.

On top of that, so many are just plain stupid! Between here and the company meeting, dozens of people keep asking the same questions that have been answered multiple times. Are they deaf? Trolls?

And then there’s the mob who keeps asking why Cisco decided this or that rule. FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME, THE RULES ARE FROM THE EO -NOT CISCO!!!

And finally, there’s the real wackos who keep asking why the company isn’t suing the government and resisting the EO in the name of protecting its employees. It is working to protect us you brainless jerks! But they’re following science and the law and not delusional theories of the ignorant mobs who have turned a medical issue into a political one.

Of course, I’ll get downvoted because it’s mostly disgruntled cry-babies on this site. Every downvote just makes me sad that our company - and our country - is filled with so many hateful and stupid people.

So they admitted my fully remote, non federal support role, isn't covered by the EO... but they just thought it was would be "easier" for them. I'm glad they're happy.

"For now you'll have a job until it's decided you don't. No worries for me. I've made smart decisions about money and do not need this job or any job for that matter. So no we are not "gonna" need it. Sounds like you didn't do the same for your family, what a shame and I can't say I'm surprised at all. Do yourself and your family a favor and turn off MSM."

Judging others aren't as smart as you is why you are losing your job and falling for conspiracy theories about vaccines and Government control. I happen to also have saved a lot and I don't need to work anymore but I still can because I am vaccinated. Besides that, I won't lose my savings because I've gotten a preventable disease and now I am stuck with hospital bills that corroded everything I've ever saved.

Good for you, though - from now on you will have a lot of free time to spend on conspiracy theories, Fox News, Facebook and getting even bitter about everything around you. If you think we envy you, try again. LOL.

There are employees that have reported bad reactions to injections, and cisco is either ignoring them or telling them to apply for a medical exemption after they have already been harmed and/or hospitalized.

Cisco is also avoiding any question regarding their liability for mandating a medical procedure for its employee since the manufacturers are immune from liability. There have already been employees hospitalized since the the mandate who are on the hook for the medical cost. But Cisco has graciously given them one day off to recover.

Cisco is going to push the deadline out today, but offer no other solution than enforcing medical tyranny at a later date. It also gives them more time to investigate accommodation request to try and build cases to deny employees their individual rights.

Yes. Exactly. It should be. But not enough time to get specialist to fill out the paperwork. That's my issue.

Your COVID vaccine status will be part of any standard corporate background check in the future, just like credit and criminal. It’s not just whether or not you are vaxxed, but if you are vaxxed, when did you get it? Did you take the vaccine when it was reasonably made available? If not, why not? What other sort of unnecessary risks do you take? What other sort of risks might you present to the company if hired? Are you going to be a undue burden to the company and it’s health insurer?

There’s a high correlation between anti covid vaxxers and those who fought universal healthcare. How do you like your apples now?

How many times are we going to see asked in the Q&A window. "Will Cisco pay for my medical expenses if I am injured from this forced vaccination". Over/Under = 10. Next question will be about prior infection/antibodies and why they are not considered. That answer will be the EO does not offer that as a option.

Be carefully listening during tomorrows check-in. Hearing from multiple sources that if you submit an exemption request, be wary of what religion that you state. I am concerned that there is also a reason for widespread delays in processing them.

As if the hostile work environment wasn't bad enough already, now people are having to justify their personal beliefs. Many of the post in this space are evidence of that.
