$15k if you’re single, $20k for a family. One ‘lump sum payment’.
I wonder how much it'd cost to relocate Frank into a nearby prison cell.
If you voluntarily leave or are terminated for violating company policy within 24 months, you will be responsible for reimbursing pro-rata portion. So if you stayed for 12 months, you're responsible for 50% of the total benefits paid. So it's not full repayment as people have stated.
And their will ALWAYS be exceptions. People not in hubs. Reconcile that with your boss sometime. Hubs are for the little people
Perhaps 10K to move a and7% pay raise
I'm mulling over a relocation to NJ. At least in my case, the job market is pretty much wide open in the NJ / NYC area, and has been for quite awhile. I have friends / family in the area. Let them pay for my move and lay me off... I'll find something better up there quicker than I would in my current location.
Someone has to really be desperate to do a family relo for $20k. It might work for a person who has extended family or friends in NJ so if the job goes away it’s no big deal.
It depends on where you are and where you’ll move to. After moving, there’s no guarantee of a job but they sure as heck let you know if you leave before 2 years, you have to pay it back in full.
It’s not the same for everyone. Plus, it’s based on where you currently live and where you’ll be going. What’s not surprising? If you leave within 2 years of moving, you’ll have to repay it in full. But if they let you go, you’re in a new place with no job. They are giving no guarantees of employment. For me it was less than $20k and I had to be moved by years end. Nope.
