I would love to be RIFed because it has become unbearable to work here. On the other hand, my anxiety about RIFs is through the roof. Which departments will be affected? Does anyone know?

People have been predicting on this page every single week for years that this week was the week that rifs would happen. Everyone claims to know and theyve only been right ++ like a broken clock ++ a couple of times. Why would they have a rif when they can just fire people for spending all day spreading conspiracy theories and racist Qanon codes on news articles?

If your young, move on and put this place in your past. You cannot control what they are gonna do, and quite honestly we all know they do not care. If you are one of the "gang" on your team with your boss, your gonna be ok, its how it always has worked. Hard to believe that grade school antics still come into play at a business this large. If medical insurance was not so dam expensive, lots would have left during that last VSP and moved on. With only a 401k and no pension for most of us, some will ride it to the end.
