What Happened Today?

The company and the union met today regarding vaccination requirements. Does anyone know what was decided?

Yes, anti vaxxers will be tarred, feathered then fired for wasting everyone’s time

there will be no vaccine mandate for union workers. The mandate for nonunion workers is enough and it’s all that’s needed. The perception in the general public is that the mandate for Verizon is companywide and that’s all that matters for the free publicity Verizon is seeking. any average person who has heard about any Verizon vaccine mandate will just assume that every Verizon employee is vaccinated.

I’m down with that first post……if only it were true….it sucks that even with a 25% discount vzw is still more than visible.

Vaccine mandate has been agreed upon with the unions. In return Company has offered 4 yr contract extension till 2027. 3% yearly raises, 1% yearly pension increases, extra week of vacation, 50% Wireless discount(same that mgt already has),minimal health care increases. Stay safe everyone.
