If the union actually stands against the mandate, you would have droves of stores signing up. Wouldn't this be in their best interest? Well see Oct. 25th with the negotiations.

Being forced to take an experimental vaccine is not safe.
10% - 20% Vaccinated where you are? You must live in backwater Alabama.
The person below is correct about 70% overall vaccinated in retail locations. They combined the 4 hour PTO election with surveys the DM’s did in early summer and came up with that figure. Are some stores far below that ? Yes but some stores are also 90-100% vaccinated.

The union already caved with tmob and blue on vax. The only think they are going to negotiate is now much red pays them to tow the line.
I dont know where you getting that data 70%. From all the stores I have asked around it's more like 10% - 20% are vaccinated. You must be from New York with your 70% are vaccinated statistic. My question wasn't about people signing up for the union it was about whether it was in the unions best interest to go against the mandate when that would be attractive (logically) for stores where employees facing termination.
The stores are at 70% vaccinated. Any new hires must be vaxxed to work in the store. Nobody is signing up for a union because of vaccine mandates. I can think of a slew of others reasons to start a union but not that one.
