Tough decision but I choose to relocate. My financial situation is such that I cannot afford to lose my job. However, the main reason I agreed to relocation is because I know from previous experience how hard it is to get a new job when you don’t have a job.
It happened to me once and I hope it will never happen again. It's easier this way. I'll be patient until I find another job. Everyone knows what is best for them, but I would recommend everyone to keep the current job until you find a new one.

How much money are they giving for the relocation package?
Good for you. I relocated back in the 2000s and it was the best move of my life. You'll find all kinds of opportunities now they know you're serious about your career at Fiserv.
If you’re moving to NJ, just do your homework with the cost of living - higher property taxes, car insurance, home/apartment costs, daycare, etc. Good luck to you!
Lose wife's income, 2200 miles from friends/family, kids go to new schools, no guarantee from company on duration (we commit to two years, they can't guarantee any duration). On paper it does not make sense for some.
Relocation can be a great move for some people that are in the position to do so. I would imagine about 80% or more of the people given the option will choose not to relocate. That's being generous as 100% of the people on my team are not relocating.
I wish you luck, and hope you're comfortable with the destination (and I hope the relocation money actually covers the costs.)
Everyone impacted has their own decision journey and no one else should question or criticize this personal decision of an anonymous coworker. I wish only the best for you.
Good luck. I hope the best for you.
Relocating is not an option for me for various reasons, not just 'I don't want to' so I'm basically being pushed out the door.
Good luck with the move. I honestly hope it goes well for you.
