Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Enough is enough

Too many people are being cut. We're losing people as it is to attrition and now they decide to implement even more layoffs? They're trying to find shortcuts to cost cuts without considering the future. Save now, think about the consequences later. Who's supposed to do all the work around here when there's only a fraction of us left?

Correct they said starting in 2022 they will not be managing as many members. Only focusing on members who have chronic conditions. Remember 5% of Humana members Generate 80% of the claims. May even be higher on. That information was a couple years ago when they started talking about the model they are moving to with Salesforce

Maybe there will be less members to serve telephonically, and more in home…hence, the kindred merger, and all the other in home services, like dispatch…the telephone case management is not the focus, it’s in home
