Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Amazing the bad advice…

So many posts here that start with the vitriol of stick it to them by quitting your job. Yes what a great way to get back at Frank, (who by the way you’ve never met). So they Twitter you into quitting your 175,000 a year job and then what? When you can’t find a replacement who will take care of your family, pay your bills, save for college, will these posters or imposters pay your rent, gas and food bill? Yea just what I thought! Be your own person the advice on this site isn’t worth a dime.

Who the heck makes that kind of money? I had to threaten to leave to get a descent raise by Fiserv cr---y standards and still don’t make that. I’m just trying to get what I can get while riding Titanic down. What a joke.

Subtract 100,000 from that salary and that's what I was making then I was there.

Underpaid and working nights and many weekends.

Funny, I had a 2nd interview this week for a remote job that pays almost as much as your fictitious salary. It ain't Frank's World.

$175,000 job? Proof of how out of touch you are with the salaries of those being laid off. More like half of that. You come across as yet another Corporate troll trying to guilt us into feeling shame for being pi---d off when your focus should be on the knowledge being let go and the impact on the clients and associates left behind. Morale is at an all time low. Frank the tank is destroying this once shining star of a company that was built on our hard work.

Curisoity , and well, i actually care about my Fiserv friends and old team mates. A couple of friends let me know about the BS RIF's going on. I was genully concerned for them which is more than i can say for you! Especially after the BS relocation, reduced benefits, and other things to make the CEO's wallet fat. I hope that my story can encourage my friends and prior team mates, that the grass is greener on the other side and it only hurts your bottom line to stay. Start looking now, and find a better place. There is a reason Fiserv is one of the top worst companies to work for and their clients don't like them either. Some of Fiserv's large customers are not renewing their contracts in the next couple of years.

Humm... well if you are making 175K a year, then it would be easy to find another Director or VP positions at another company. Unless you are really bad at interviewing, which means you shouldn't be in the Director or VP role in the first place. At this company you have to be in with the good ole' boy club to make that, btw.

After being passed up for a promotion last year because an employee was good friends with the new management. I left the company this year making 90k and now make 165k a year as a Sr Systems Engineer. Took me a few months to find the right opportunity. The origional poster (OP) just doesn't want you to leave this sh-t ho-e that reduces benefits, increases your hours of work and doesn't do anything for a cost of living increases. My advice, move on from this place! The new management only care about themselves and their friends and from where i stand, Frank is a greedy scumbag.

I agree with op, I know several who have left Fiserv and are on there second job…or worse yet were let go as the company they joined wasn’t what they thought it would be.

Pretty sure if you are worthy of being paid $175,000 by Fiserv, you can get $200,000+ elsewhere. I bumped my salary substantially with a new (similar) job.
