Yeah, another whole night + whole night to get resolved. Several Help Desk calls/chats plus manual reboots - and-who-knows-what-else behind the scene tinkering.
Also, make sure all apps -except Pulse- are closed. Chat/IM clients too. Right-click the app icon in the lower right task tray and choose exit. Do not leave any other apps running.
Laptop users: Make sure your laptop has good ventilation before running the install. I had a user whose laptop had a reboot failure (fan failure) and it stopped the install. When we got past the boot failure, the install continued, but ultimately corrupted the HDD.
That trashed my laptop. Before it runs, double check to make sure you don't have any docs you need that haven't been backed up somewhere.
Make sure you run it at night, after you're done working. Stay connected to Pulse - due to patches you should be connected all night if you can anyway - and let it run overnight.
Still very much work trying to get it mirgated properly and your computer back to normal. So all the other work backs up... Not a good deal.
Mine came through a few weeks ago and I installed at the end of day like it said to do... Next morning, it's still sitting there trying to install and stuck. Help desk... Ended up taking the whole day to get it installed with help desk having to do some manual things behind the scenes...
