I am a multi-decade employee who was stunned to find out that my employment, and any person who does not want to submit their vax card to an unknown HR personnel, with a company I have loved and served well will end without severance. One boat, one team... sure.
I just got off the phone with another employee who was in tears because this person cannot afford to lose this job and feels in their words "violated" to do something they do not want to do because of their own moral or ethical reasons. Even as a remote employee who does not go in any Xerox facility, it does not matter, no mercy. My heart broke for that person. I can think about retiring, this person cannot.
The only way this does not happen is if hundreds of employees do not submit anything to this system. They cannot afford to lose hundreds when we can't even staff current openings.
All because of an executive order that has not even been put into law yet (and may never).
