Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Dec 8th - Get the jab or get out

Based on the memo, looks like we finally know where HPE stands. Don't want to lose any revenue from the Gov't so everyone (even teleworkers) must comply or will be placed on unpaid leave.

And by the time people fight it in court, their job will be long gone.

Wouldn't have been really cool if people wore the masks in the first place and we didn't have to develop this vaccine? Man, think about how cool that would have been ...

We wouldn't have still listen to you losers. Freedom! Trump is Lord!

The requests are reviewed by two different teams. One for medical and one for religious. The AskHR team will route your case accordingly.
I can't speak to medical requests, but for religious requests you should study Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. (Under Title VII qualifying employers must reasonably accommodate an employee who requests to be exempted from a company rule or policy that conflicts with their sincerely held religious beliefs, practices, or observances – provided that the request does not pose an undue burden to the employer.)

Would it hurt to send both medical and religion? I have my both

Good luck with that medical exemption, with the CDC saying they think it's perfectly fine for a woman trying to get pregnant or a pregnant woman taking the vaccine, that would more likely be declined, even though it's many cases of miscarriages after taking the vacx. The only medical exemption I could see you getting, is which you have documented proof of having allergic reactions to previous vaccines or certain ingredients.
I've seen cancer patients be told to take the Vaxx and it made them sick as he-l.

Has anyone asked for the medical exemption? I wonder what medical issues will be considered to get it approved. I am not an anti-vaxxer, but I am trying to get pregnant and do not feel confortable putting a vaccine in my body that has had less than a year of research. We still don't know what the life long side effects of the vaccine will be.

Yes, based on the memo, it’s all about the Benjamins. HPE talks a mean game about ethics, inclusion, etc. But in the end does not value their employees and their deeply held beliefs. All they care about is money, the greedy ba----ds.

Side note, every time it type HPE, it autocorrects to HOE. 🤔

In my opinion asking for exemption just tells HPE that they do indeed have authority over our medical treatments. I don't care if someone is vaccinated or not, for whatever reason, medical, religious. personal reasons, that is no one else's business. Free men do not require exemptions. Everyone who is pro freedom should not be submitting exemptions, their papers, or anything else. Refuse to comply with tyranny

For the below comment…
I’ll be laughing at your arrogant, d-mb @$$ when I see you in Houston flipping my burger because you quit your six figure job because you were one of the ones too stupid to realize that guys like Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh (RIP) blow smoke up peoples @$$e$ to make a quick buck. How many of your “heroes” do you think have been vaccinated? Those guys laugh their @$$e$! off at folks like you just like I will in a few months.

Special shout out to all of the “religious exemptions” folks for putting the rest of us at risk while you cling to your asinine political beliefs. Oh the irony when you meet your maker and are deemed unsavory due to your heresy and your allegiance to the prince of lies (aka DJT).

I was asked on this forum about the religious exemption that I received. Here are the steps that I took. I went to askHR and requested help. I got a response in a day from an actual HR person who sent me a doc form with questions. I filled out the form, signed it, and sent it back to the HR contact. I got the approval in a day or two. My argument was pretty solid, but I was expecting a rejection given the political nature of this topic and how woke HPE has become. I was pleasantly surprised by the result.

Just wait until booster shots become a mandate. This is a wet dream for big pharma and the authoritarian left, to turn our immune systems into subscription services. Resist.

I really think you (the poster below) have completely distorted a health issue and turned it into a political issue (see my last post). The company’s leadership has a responsibility to ensure that it’s employees are safe and have a safe workplace. They are also responsible for complying with legal obligations. If not, they put the company at risk.
This has nothing to do with “wokeness” or any other BS you get fed by FOX news, Newsmax or OANN or any other BS website that you get your “news” from.

Not anti vaccine, pro choice. Antonio and his band of merry men have caved to the left narrative. They are lazy in making the mandate a blanket one across all US employees. I am sure a majority don’t work on govt business and work from home but it would be too much to administer. Not surprising since the inner workings of HPE are a joke. I’m submitting a religious exemption request and see what happens. I have lost what little respect I had left for Antonio since he has completely gone woke.

Would you all please just quit and go work at 7-11? There are plenty of qualified people who we would welcome to work for our company that have enough common sense to know why vaccines exist and the benefits of reaching herd immunity.
And for the rare few of you that have some intelligence, stop being so darn arrogant to think that your are the special informed ones and that the majority of society is being misled and misinformed. The harsh reality is that everyone’s guy (or gal) doesn’t always win the election. There can only be one winner and sometimes it’s not your person. Get a grip folks!

Unfortunately I don’t think so. Word of advice is only talk about this with the people who are awake and not the sheeps(will bring you more trouble than anything). Keep faith and continue to fight for justice, truth and freedom. Its a lonely journey but it is the path of truth

J&J is just 1 shot vs 2 from the others, I would take it, less to go wrong with 1 try versus 2.
They say J & J's efficiency isn't as good as the others, but in the end, it's your immune system that determines how well you will fight covid not a damn vaccine if this thing even is considered a real vaccine

Why J&J?

Unfortunately Tech fought unions so organizing power is limited, but even employers with unions like Union Pacific employees are having their power usurped because US government is filling the hands of unions with PPP payouts.

Your choice is J&J vaccine or medical exemption or religious exemption or walk into 2021 with a fresh new outlook under the current medical tyranny.

The ultimate outcome is major outsourcing to freer countries of US workload and longer term a worldwide depression.

Read IBM threads to see how happy your fellow tech workers are.

That is the problem I believe a very small minority in the IT industry are awake and realizing the magnitude of this. It’s even harder when we all work remote cannot just walk out like GE in Ohio and we are not able to plan to assemble. Who is vax who is not and who is for it who are against it?We are in the dark clueless.

So, What is it that we are going to do? How many of us are really concerned about this extortion of our freedom of choice and legal rights? Whether you are vaccinated or not, you should be very concerned by this approach of our Fed Government and this Company. What will the next mandate be, consider what is really going on here. You can cross the border without being vaccinated and then get into the Govt system, yet hardworking tax paying citizens, are forced to get the vaccine or lose all that we have worked for. Who's willing to go to new HPE HQ in Texas and rally against this mandate?

Just heard that HPE competitor D*ll only requires the vaccine for those who are tied to a government contract. How can HPE require everyone to be vaxxed?? And oh, btw…why are the USPS government employees not mandated to take the shot?!! Something is not right.

If you apply for a medical exemption because you've already had covid, it will more than likely be denied, because under FAQ, they specifically say previous infection doesn't matter and even the federal guidelines say that as well too.

For religious exemption, everything I've been reading up on it, we'll have to be a very deeply held religious belief as to why you don't want to get this vaccine and I'm sure they will be pushed back as to why you won't get this but you taking other ones in the past.

An outside firm will be the one to reviewing this stuff doing the approving or denying the request

If you do a search under December 8th guidelines and look at different results, this is all the government just using Corporate America do their dirty work with the lame excuse of if our contractors aren't sick from covid, they'll be able to serve us better, and I'm pretty sure there's a good Financial Kickback on government contracts as well for everyone that meets December 8th guideline. Research has shown that most of these mandates are successful in forcing people to take this vaccine, as no one wants to risk not being able to provide for their family because they didn't take the shot

Has anyone applied for the medical exemption yet? Wondering what specifically was claimed and how it was processed.

I plan to apply for the medical exemption due to the fact that I have already had Covid and have long lasting terrible immunity.

I sent in my religious exemption request. That result will determine how I move forward. I get the feeling that there is some agenda driving going on and that it's not all about saving the FED biz. I don't know if I've worked for a company that shoots itself in the foot as often as HPE.
