Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

The real goal

You don’t fire thousands of experienced people with the aim to improve operations. So it’s not about quality and better execution for customers. Whatever could it be? Folks it’s a massive accounting exercise to enable KKR and Frank a huge short term gain. Then it falls apart without a miracle. Wake up. Do you want to be stuck in New Jersey as a recent relocation? Take the $$$ you can get while it’s there

I can get to the number being higher than 2K. However, I would like some additional data points. Pre FDC merger, how many US employees were? Of that how many of us worked from home?

The goal is to line the CEO's pockets with him hitting his bonuses and kick everyone else to the curb. He is also looking at lowering costs, by letting the deserving poeople that earned their raises go, and hiring new people at a lower rate.

I heard it's in the high thousands. Not 2,000, not 5,000, but even higher than 7,000. This ain't right.
