Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

I envy those who were let go

I can't be the only one. They received severance and can now relax for a while and enjoy being out of this toxic place to the fullest. We are the ones who got the short end of the stick. We're still here, having to deal with the same horrible managers while having to do extra work to compensate for those who left. I honestly think they're the lucky ones here.

"Hang in there. They are counting on you breaking. Get what is due you. Don’t let the ba----ds get you down"

Agreed! Don't leave any $$$$ on the table if you can help it. And you can. Demand some sh!t. They are not in charge; we are.

Still waiting on my last day communication. 19 days and counting. This is total BS. I can’t plan for my future! But I will NOT walk away from what’s due me! And still silence from upper management. It’s like they thought we wouldn’t connect the dots and find others who were disrespected after years of loyalty to a company. Frank is destroying this company and doesn’t care. My heart hurts for those left behind.

Same for me, no info but a deadline to decide whether to relo. Forget being good at your job, these aren’t even good people

It's definitely bull, It's been over 2 weeks since my group was told about the relocate or gtfo policy. They specifically said that the HR meetings would be in the following week. 2 weeks later - nothing. Dead silence.

Why the F should I put forward any effort now? This job can kiss my a-s.

I asked for information on severance or a time line as to when I can expect my last day. My supervisor stated that they did not have any information as of yet. So they tell me, either relocate or I will get severance but they can't tell me when. What kind of bull is that? They expect me to perform my job like nothing was said? Really??

Not sure what job function you are in, but the job market is really heating up for mine.

I was underpaid by 10-15 grand while I was there, but I was complacent because my wife's family all lived in the area. Fiserv actually did me a favor by pink-slipping me during the Great Redundancy of the pandemic.

I feel bad for all the bag holders, and happy for the people that were offered a severance. Lots of opportunity out there, with a far better company than Fiserv.

Remember your agile training. You need to maximize the amount of work not done.

So follow your training and leave the extra work undone.
