They have been very careful with their language. Your job MAY be in jeopardy or your job COULD be in jeopardy. Verizon has not and will not say they WILL TERMINATE you. I wonder why that is? Let's see it in black and white Verizon.

It is very much in plains black and white, you will be given time to take the vaccination and be placed on unpaid leave after that date for a period of time. After 60 days, you will be paying for your own benefits as well.
Oh they'll fire you, this is another perfect storm for Verizon, just like covid was, they fire all the anti-vaxers and there is no need for rifs, no severance, what better way to purge more people, close more departments, and more stores ,most stores are very short staffed now, if you've got 5 reps at your store and 2 or 3 refuse the vax it will be very easy for the company to consolidate 2 stores into one, this will happen!!
They won't fire you. They'll put you on indefinite unpaid leave until you either get vaxxed or quit because you have to pay the bills. No unemployment, no severance, no benefits after 30 days, no cobra.
This has been done with vax opponents in hospitals for a long time.
Nothing Verizon does is black and white. Don't hold your breath. Terminations will be selective based on "needs of the business" (Vomit)
those 4.3 million were in food service and retail. I'd quit too.
- 3 million people in the US quit their jobs in August. That alone is staggering, not to mention inflation crushing everything. Wages need to increase, what they pay is nothing special.
