Are you high? Did that little aquisition of EMC not happen? If you still think Dell is about selling laptops no wonder they are taking all your accounts.
DELL has taken over as the hardware platform in datacenters for many customers who have become disenchanted with HPE'S more recent servers.Dell is more reliable,Hpe has stumbled too many times.
HP Inc sells PCs and printers. What a loss.
For clarification....
Dell is more aligned to desktops and SMB customers, they don't have the server range that HPE does for large customers and for those who need High Performance Compute.
HP Inc. designs and sells laptops, desktops, monitors and printers along with associated parts and services. HPE does server hardware, storage and networking along with complete consulting and advising services that Dell does not have.
HPE had layoffs today. Not sure of the scope yet.
@med+1dhDaJMq I can tell you don't work for either company. Perhaps you should go somewhere else or get a clue and do a quick research about Compaq/HP/HPE and Dell.
"...all happy over there"
I would disagree. This chip shortage and COVID is affecting everyone. There is no happiness in any tech company right now. Dell is in a ho-e but HPE just happens to be in a deeper one, so I'd agree with that.
Just because there's "no noise" from Dell's page, doesn't mean there's nothing going on. That's a silly assumption considering that this website can be rather unreliable.
Are you sure it is HPE? I didn't think Dell and HPE were competitors. Dell = computers, HPE = software.
