Trying to keep up with metrics as the stores are still short handed is unrealistic. The 30 month option will come back to haunt reps next year when customers want to get the new apple phone. They will be caught off guard when several months of payments will be needed to upgrade. BTW its pretty sad when Verizon needs to have the 30 month option to force retention. When a company has to resort to these type of tactics its all downhill hill from there.
We are essentially being forced to do 30 month so the cust. Bill is lower to try to retain them. We were instructed not to offer 24 month. Seems like more and more Verizon is trying to push the boundaries of what is ethical and what isnt.
To sell a home protect you basically have to trick the customer and slam them with it. If you dont sell them you get into trouble. No one with any sense would want to pay $25 a month for that. Now we are short handed and get paid the same no matter what we do for the most part. Why even try?
We need a metric to measure how many times a day I want to throw my fu----g tablet at the wall!!! Fix the godda-n system!!!
I sell all my phones on 24 month and don't even mention 30 month. Pay me for my upgrade and maybe I'll sell it on 30 month.
Because if cuts are to be made then they must try to eliminate before the cuts to lower the cost of buyouts. If you are termed because of a stupid metric that’s one less severance.
