The severance documentation included a document that listed those employees in my job function (Engineering) who were eligible and those who were selected for the layoffs. I'm not sure if that was US or worldwide, and I don't know if there were employees who were not eligible. The document listed the job titles and ages, but of course no names, for each of the employees. I suspect that met some legal requirement to show that they just didn't lay off the old guys. The selected employees were about 10% of the total. As I recall, that is consistent with past layoffs.
So 90M in severance for less than 400 people. That does not add up unless the severance cost given to public and employees is wrong.
Less than 400 actually... I don't know what's the point of layoff because people are leaving themselves already... I think this is a desperate move from the ELT to give investor positive cost saving sentiment ...
look at linkedin and search for "citrix".. you'll see droves of id--ts telling the entire world how they were impacted by the layoffs.
500-550
Just curious, how/what does a company gain by hiding the count?
Citrix is hiding them. They don’t want anyone to know the full impact. Just look at LinkedIn and you will see a ton of posts of people impacted.
HR and the ELT know, IT and Security probably know too.
But I do not think anybody who knows the numbers will be posting them here.
