Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Brookfield?

You have to wonder how long Brookfield will hold the title of "Corporate Headquarters." Rumor has it that when New Jersey is "fully staffed," Brookfield will be shuttered with new management in the wings to replace what's left of the senior leadership that wont move. Yeah...it's gonna be a sh*tstorm between this and the tanking stock price.

The HR minions are very predictable. They must be on vacation this week.

I heard from a reasonably reliable source that Frank's ultimate goal is to have the majority of employees in NJ/NY. In particular, offices such as Lincoln will be considered a "remote hub" which means it will eventually be shut down / sold off. Given Frank's accelerated trail of destruction as of late, I would expect this to happen relatively soon. Whenever I post about Lincoln, an HR minion is quick to combat my post -- so it must be true.

I am assuming an honest discussion here - there is alot of cost factors that go into location management. Beyond the brick and building costs are financial incentives and tax breaks that go state by state. It may be easy to say close this or open that, or move there and such but it is not an easy call. Now that is under normal circumstances of course. Nothing at Fiserv is normal anymore.

You lost us at NJ being fully staffed. Even if they did a 'Sopranos no show job', that su---r will remain well below capacity. Nobody in the NY tri state area with a decent skill set will want to commute to Berkley Heights. That said, FB will still call it the corporate headquarters

A poster on an earlier thread said there is less than 100 people in the Brookfield Building daily. If you ever been there you would know how ridiculous it is to even turn on the electricity for that.

Didn't Fiserv accept a tax credit to remain HQed in Brookfield?

A Wisconsin HQ means that Fiserv is able to force more litigation into federal courts.

I'll be retired before P24 is complete and or Brookfield is no longer HQ.

I do not think they’ll ever see the New Jersey office fully staffed. Not that it matters, Frank will still shut down other offices.
