Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

No productivity after layoffs

After the latest layoffs I barely manage to get my work done. I literally catch myself staring at the monitor and doing absolutely nothing. It’s not something to brag about, certainly, but I don’t think I’m the only one whose productivity is lower than ever after cuts?
It is clearer to me than ever that hard work makes no sense here. My biggest wish is not to be here next year.

I'm no psychologist nor do I play one on TV, but you've got to find a way to plod forward through the monotony of this abysmal situation some of us find ourselves in until you find your NEXT. Of course, you could just faaccking quit (but please see about a severance) and start applying elsewhere (which you should be doing even if you stay). Don't complain to anybody too much. Keep your head down and plan. Plan like it's ends of days.

My biggest wish is not to be here next year.

I too just hose around all day. Frank hasn't earned my respect; I feel no need whatsoever to exert too much effort at this place given that Frank is literally laying people off for not wanting to uproot their families and move to NJ. Shameful regime.

The more rounds of layoffs you go through the closer that wish will become a reality.
