Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

what shape is your team in?

I'm on a team of engineers, and we'll be down 4 people after the latest resignation. We should have at least 12 people. So best case we're down 1/3.

This isn't sustainable... I have to fill out my annual assessment and half of my goals will be missed simply because I have no time to work on them.

My manager seems helpless. I haven't even seen any resumes recently. What is HR doing?

@2bwm+1dWGDyd2 You just like the Leader teams have no vision. The fab-out on target scarified the quality and bring more excursions. Without people works on CIP and improvement, nothing will happens on the long term. Think about the “BR” in the earlier all hands meeting, I can’t hear anything about that now.

With so many folks who've left in the last 18 months, we are still ahead of our fab-out target. There's plenty of fat obviously.

Who do you think is the cause of this and all former exodus, HR. Until HR team is outsorced to a professional organization, this nonsense will not stop.

Whoever joins now will ask more than whoever left.

Generally if person is leaving GF due to higher pay outside. Our HR should come forward to match the offer.

Level 9 above got huge hike due to jump in share price.If 10% of share given to them reduced and offered to level 9 below many would have stayed.

50 share paid in June really stop people leaving GF?
