Sounds like somebody is getting their Bartleby, the Scrivener on. I guess times change but people don't.
Not much to do? Maybe your position is ripe for a layoff. Don’t be worried about a second job….be worried about a first.

Sad thing is, if anyone in the US did this, they would be fired immediately, while these people kept working.

A lot of offshore developers and testers, especially contractors, have more than one jobs, usually with a different bank like BoA. I have had them admit it to me explaining why they are tired and asking me not to tell anyone.
If that is not a RISK, I don’t know what is, but management doesn’t care as long as it is cheap.

Oh no doubt. Several devs here have 2-3 jobs, writing code for each one. They steal from each one and re-use it in the other company's code and just go back and forth. There's a reason a big chunk of them got blocked from Stackoverflow and other sites. It was almost constant copying of code. Others are running off of 'degree factory' degrees -huge problem overseas - that inflate their skills and they have zero idea of what they are doing, so they steal code from anything they can and piece it together as best as possible.
@2hey+1dUzRCFr agreed I have seen a few extremely lazy developers who tell everyone it takes them 4 months to write 4 lines of code meanwhile they completely checked out, get into trouble for sending code home in order to reuse somewhere else and are constantly in trouble for HR issues
I don’t have the bandwidth for a second job. It’s almost impossible. You are lucky. Instead of getting a second job, just start a business.

I'd argue its even easier to hide in an Agile workplace - I see it happen often.
Fake news....you can hide anymore with Agile methodology . should be worried because you will next : layoff.
I've had a second, west coast based contractor job for the last six months... There are plenty of contractor roles to be had out there, especially if you are in tech or infosec.
You think SORM is integral to Wells Fargo? lol you're in for a bit wake-up call.
Watch this space, as they say.
What does this topic have to do with layoffs?
Lucky people. I am fulfilling two roles across two teams due to too much work and not enough heads. Willing to trade.
We are very busy in SORM. Unfortunately, that is the price to pay for being an integral cog of the company.
@ywd+1dUzRCFr you'll have to move your head out of the way first.
I am in ER and do not have much to do either.
You must be in marketing.
You work 2 hours a day? That's too much. I work 30-60 minutes per day and been that way for 3 years. 100% serious.
Ball sack scratchers are in high demand on Craigslist.....I would check it out.
Pity posts are anonymous because I think we're on the same team.... or does everyone have endless hours and sometimes days/weeks with absolutely nothing to do....
