They will probably sell their last patents to Microsoft or more likely Google/Amazon.

BS. Powerwashing companies make money. That would be too logical.

In two years from now, they are going to acquire a power washer company for $1Bn and then layoff another 15% of employees because they couldn't figure out how to integrate a power washer in workspace even when everyone had pointed out it would be useless for Citrix.
In order to do this, they would make BC interim CEO again , pay him 30million for cleaning up his own mistake since he would have signed off the idea to buy power washer . Citrix would still continue to be the best places to work for while continuing to s**t on employees. They will continue to send out 85 surveys until they get the data that they want to hear and continue to ignore the rest. Glassdoor will keep getting amazing reviews from HR team to bring up the average rating. They would continue being puzzled as to why nobody wants to work for Citrix. Some of the surveys will keep asking questions such as "Do you think ELT cares about you ? Would you agree that layoffs would be done only as the last alternative ? Do you feel appreciated at Citrix ?etc. etc. They will give another additional day off in December to show "appreciation" while secretly hoping that people forget what was done to their friends and colleagues.
Current Citrix middle managers would have updated 250 Jira epics/stories to show progress but in all would have managed to ship 2 features for their product while being promoted to senior directors or VP.
CEO would continue talking about headwinds and tailwinds without slightest clue about what the company is about.
Please note, this review is not personal. We love Citrix as a company but reviews and comments are for their own benefit. It is not my first resort and definitely not something I enjoy doing. Thank you for your service.

Once a private equity firm buys us, they will load the company with debt, and keep taking profits out. As the debt load becomes larger and larger, they will file bankruptcy and move on after milking the cash cow.

Read on what happened to Avaya, Riverbed etc..

Nothing will change. Once you are owned by a PE it's game over. Find me one company that is an exception to this rule.

My turn:
Workspace becomes a common household name. Parents, kids, grandparents, pets all become 300x productive by just using It.

@cte said it correctly - it's all about recurring revenue

Citrix will be milked for the recurring revenue and decline until there are no more renewals and it is shutdown.
