So for those of us on a team that is distributed across multiple time zones and countries, we will never have an Agile Ceremony together in person - it is just not possible with all the different cities involved. Then we can still be full time remote - no RTO.
My team has never once had a team building activity or in person training. There's no reason we would ever get together in person.
I think there are many Agile teams like this, not just my team.
So they've loosened the RTO requirements, but you'll still have to be near a hub? What fresh he-l is this?!
Am I the only one excited that they loosened the RTO requirement?
Brownfield vs Greenfield. It’s going to be interesting to see how they re-org around this
Sounds like Rto is more or less going to be unregulated. Use your own judgement on when you should go in and when it is not necessary to do so. Makes sense to me.
over representation of men: still
manish the architect dude is the only credible one so far. the rest seems to be a tiny fraction of the company is working on the modern application architecture, and none of them have been here more than a year. the writing on the wall is retire or quit if you are legacy (tenure more than a year).
