Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Everyone pretends it's not their fault

Leadership, of course, is never to blame for the company sinking, the circumstances are to blame, everyone below them is to blame. Marketing is never to blame, they are supposedly doing everything in their power and someone else is to blame again. In the end it seems to be the fault of employees who worked here more than ever, who blindly listened to their boss and under abnormal stress tried to do their best not to lose their job. - - Perhaps for a change someone should start taking responsibility in this company?

Our 3 week old new hire is already quitting to go back to t-mo bc they paid him more. No RIS surveys, individual commissions, they seem to still care about their employees, unlike this company...

Aside from RIS (which my SM pointed out that even transaction promoters are being labeled as account checks so the odds still remain against us reps), we are the only company in wireless that cut the commission and started this BS group commission structure. The upper management is a joke! They love skating off and getting paid 6 figure salary to make a few video calls a day to highlight how we reps are going to push harder for half of what we used to make and also start taking management responsibilities as well. It's not the extra work that makes it bad as I work my a-s off everyday to provide top numbers in my location, it's the lack of pay and appreciation from the DM level and up. This company needs to quit hiding behind the excuse of employing us during the pandemic and we are lucky to still be here, to pay us less than before. It's sad that Hans and his board members are such cheapskates and are turning our company into s#!+. They could care less how we feel or if we are making enough money to handle recent inflation.

Now that things are busy, the incompetence is on display. The Sr. Network Assurance Managers are doing a very poor job of ececuting. They drank the cool-aid about how to manage and have played the good old boys club game for to long. Now they find themselves technically lacking. Technology is going to leave them behind due to their own laziness.

It is sadly human nature for the powerful to blame those less so..
