I did two months ago and I'm so much happier now. You don't realize how bad the situation really is until you start working somewhere else and you start noticing that the things you had accepted as normal (like verbally abusive managers) are not the industry standard or considered normal. Leaving literally improved my health (my blood pressure has normalized). If you get an opportunity, take it. I highly doubt you'll regret it.

Dont kid yourself, UG was a poisonous work environment since the 90s. Thats when incompetent management really started.
What happened on October 1, 2012 that made Enbridge such a loathsome place to work? Is that when Monaco took over as CEO? In which case, I agree. The company became evil at that point. I despise him.
This used to be a really great place to work. Then Oct 1, 2012 happened.
The level of seething hatred is rising at Enbridge. Employees try to hide it but as soon as you scratch the surface a bit, you find it. It comes out in all sorts of ways: bullying, micro aggressions, withheld information, favouritism, insults, disrespectful behaviour and comments.
I left as well. LUG is full of mediocre and biased middle management. No point sticking around somewhere that protects evil people and penalizes honest, hardworking and result driven employees.
So glad the great company I worked for got taken over by a cesspool.
