Wholesale payment's merchant services to layoff about half of the staff in operations. This will include sales teams, boarding trams, credit teams, risk teams. The firm is coming up with a new boarding system based on WePay platform and this will make all those teams obsolete. WePay has superior decision making using AI and machine learning. The losses suffered by merchant services division stem from human errors more than any other factors. The WePay platform is designed to eliminate human errors by reducing touchpoints at various stages of the boarding process. This is a highly visible and massive undertaking within the firm with the blessings of Jamie Dimon himself. The development team including our executive director plans to do a TED speech on machine learning to highlight JPMC's ability in this field once the project is completed and the merchant services portfolio is successfully transferred to the new WePay platform.
Please post any layoff dates in chase here. so be prepared with omicron coming who knows what happens.
Bummer I got the vac. But the booster Oh H3ll no! I need to dust off the resume so if the new variant turns out to be bad I can grab a remote gig because JPMC won’t send people to work from home again. They’re afraid of not being able to bean count. And yep I see their bean counter make two laps every day!
Any layoff coming any news anymore???
That's fine just give me package and I will go elsewhere
Let's layoff the internet trolls bahahaha ba ba ba beavissss
Wow that's scary. Will there be a package at least????
I doubt they will layoff. The firm is seriously understaffed right now, or at least in my department, so if they are d-mb enough to lay people off now then they are even d-mber than I thought
Layoffs? We can hardly keep staff from quitting much less laying people off...
I only heard that unvaxxed are getting laid off.
