Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

New hires are lost

Since they are hiring new, naive young people without much experience, so that they can squeeze them out as much as possible, then it would be necessary to make an effort to introduce these young new hires a little better to what their job will be.
I wouldn't mind doing so, but I don't have time to help a new colleague who is completely lost and who will very likely quit very quickly because of it.
What is PepsiCo's message to their new employees? 'Sink or swim'?

When will they start getting rid of GBS people that still say they are onboarding 2 years into their role??? Tired of them fabricating data. Tired of the making mistakes causing severe business disruptions that leadership at corporate doesn’t understand. 10 people in HR quit in the last two weeks - people with 10+ years of experience. Just gone in a flash. I hope the executives notice when their compensation is processed incorrectly this year.

This rancid oversized organization will likely, in my opinion at least, crumble into multiple fragments. As soon as Ramon and his vicious band of scoundrels can find respective buyers at the right price. Thinking Quaker is next on the chopping block. At some point in the not too distant future, expect almost all non factory or delivery based jobs to be based in India and Mexico. So glad I’m planning an exit strategy now before this bloated toxic ship sinks for good!

Are you kidding.... people are spending months training MBS. If they would only do that for the US employees. We work for years and have all the experience, then train a foreign country to do our job. I hope inflation takes a big bite out of PepsiCo.

I don’t know about Pepsi but that’s the Frito Lay training model: Learning the Business Cold. If you are good enough, you will get it. My question is when do they get rid of you for not catching up?
