The Kroger deal serves to enrich the shareholders. To prop up sales. The store traffic will slow further if customers can pick up their milk and a USA pan at the same store. Our jobs are not saved by this deal. The endgame is near.

Scary thought.
Third quarter reports around first week of January.
There’s maybe 6 weeks to make sales.
Got that aisle set?
Don’t be negative. This is a huge win. 10 years from now much of our customer base will remember those first items the bought at Kroger that drove them into our stores. Then their entire house will be furnished with BBB brands! Mark my word!
Anyone who thinks this move is to get BBB back into the mainstream go-to-store footprint is a fool. As is there is no reason to even venture in to a BBB store, the foot traffic present day validates this. So how is it the cheaply made for BBB products being available at Kroger beneficial? The delusion amongst those clinging on to BBB for dear life is quite staggering. This stinks like desperation and something not fully thought through. Good luck to those who still think this company will turn around and remain here.
this deal is to drive up the value of the owned brand, that's it. how much more money would corporate make if they didn't have to pay leases on BBB stores anymore? utilities? payroll beyond maybe warehouse workers and a few featured stores in big cities?
foot traffic is already down in store, how is making our brand available somewhere else, however limited the selection, going to drive it up? especially without essentials like grocery, and skeleton crew stores
you people cant be for real? whether they close more stores or not, being in krogers will have nothing to do with it. how many sq feet of a kroger store do you think will be dedicated to our product? come on folks, lets be real. we can hate bbb for what they have become, but dont think this move is anything more than a way to drive sales.
I’d like to return this gallon of chunky lemon milk.
Yay, now we will have to take Kroger returns.
Wrong! This deal will save us and solidify out future. Don’t listen to the naysayers!!!!!!
So most everything BBB sells is a commodity and surely Kroger (10x bigger) could procure at a lower cost.
Owned brands are repackaged generics that again Kroger could source themselves.
This is about selling BBB.
Proving to Kroger a value and a path forward against Target and Walmart with home goods and a ready made brand solution.
Baby is the only real path left for MT.
what store do you work at that still has a ‘vast assortment’? the assortments are all online now, what’s left of them, and those will be available on kroger’s site
wasn’t the ‘point’ of the owned brands that they could only get it from us? ha
No, this will bring tons of foot traffic in the stores. They buy one of our brands at Kroger and will be hooked on our products. Kroger won’t be able to carry the vast assortment that we do, so they will have to come to our stores to get their fix of BBB. This is a great decision and will build on the strength of our company.
This idea must of came from the Chief Fool of Stores?
Nailed it .
it's insulting that they think we're d-mb enough to believe this is anything but a means to close even more stores; why pay rent and payroll when someone else is selling your merchandise for you?
