It looks like mandates take effect January 4, 2022. It will be interesting to see how many people walk their talk and how many fold because they were just posting on here to further politicize certain issues in the pandemic. I think some people are going to be walking back a few statements.

For the mandate to be deemed unconstitutional the matter has to make its way through the courts to the highest court in the land. Supreme. It won’t make it past any of the lower courts. How do you demonstrate unconstitutionality when more than half of the population is getting vaccinated and want to be vaccinated? Constitutionality of the vax mandate is only an issue for a small percentage.

In far too many discussions when a liberal, sheepish, ideologue is met with steadfast opposition; someone who will bend to their warped, unreasoned, leftist imaginations they always and quickly resort to name calling and shaming. It’s like 30% of the world has turned into children spouting pablum and wishing everyone just let them have their way. Like the below poster who said anyone who thinks differently than them should be eliminated. It’s funny when they say these things you can almost visualize their adolescent aggression acted out in a temper tantrum. Far too many good people have accepted this type of behavior for too long and it’s coming to an end.

To label a particular social media platform as this is or that is the strategy of fools; The platform is merely the vehicle for information distribution we all must judge each element of content individually.

Abbott and his misguided state law is trumped by federal law. Cloth masks do not total block the virus, but they help a little. Plus they flag the a$$holes everyone should stay way away from, so that is helpful also.

Photo shop you name over a pic of a true vax card. Take that to your general doctor, have them input it into the record system, your done.
The mandate requires masks to be worn by unvaccinated ... and describes the “grave danger” they are in ... and that reason for the mask mandate. BUT the mandate goes on to describe that a homemade mask made from scrap fabric is acceptable. You can’t make this stuff up! I had no idea that scrap fabric is so protective of an aerosol respiratory virus (and the most dangerous one of our lifetime) and will be protective against “grave danger” 😂
Take a look at the FAQ for the “Emergency Temporary Standard” on the OSHA website and tell me this is about saving lives.
Chevron stock is publically traded on the stock market but that doesn’t make it a “public” company like a government agency is “public”. So, the mandates apply.
Anyone impacted by the new OSHA regulation can just take a weekly test no? That seems a more rational approach than quitting, while this cr-p gets brought up in court.
Doesn't the mandate only apply to private companies? Chevron is public so the mandate may not apply.
