Employee vs Management…you have absolutely no chance no matter what and the employee will always be wrong no matter what. Management could destroy your family and set your house on fire and HR would turn their head, protect mgmt and blame you for having matches in your house.
Employee vs Employee…HR will side with the person who is least culpable or who they have less of a chance of ending up in a courtroom with.
I’ve had interactions with other HR groups at companies. Oracle HR absolutely do not care one iota about the employees. They are the equivalent of the kids in class that tell on the kids when the teacher is out of the room.
I kind of get a kick out of them because at the end of their careers they will come away with no respect, no admiration, no tangible achievements, no memories, and only stories about how they protected people who inflicted pain on good people and sided with people who otherwise would do the same thing to them had they been in the roles of the victims. They in essence are those people who blame the victims of a se-ual as----t instead of seeing the wrongdoing of the offender. It’s such a sad state of affairs for Oracle HR. As a father of children, it scares me to think my kids will some day be under the watch of people like this. People who truly do not have your back and are actually there to stab you in it.
