Usually the opposite happened to me, the longer I was in a company and more work experience I gained, the better work-life balance I had.
It's different here. Ever since I came here, the work-life balance is getting worse and now I literally don’t have it.
In this regard, I'm noticing that work is very poorly distributed here, while some are facing a burnout, others are working without much stress at all.

Hopefully you will be in next list of layoff. Manager doesn't like people saying no
Regarding work life balance. I learn long ago to say NO. No you cannot call me after 10pm. No I won't get home at 7pm and log on. No I will not accept calls during my vacation. No if it's not my weekend to cover do not call me unless theres a fire.
Too many people refuse to say NO until it's too late.
Commiserating with an anecdote of my own... I took my current position as a Principal Eng to replace an SMTS, and along the way have absorbed the bulk of the work of another SMTS that left. I have zero equivalent help and demands from fabs (yep, multiple) have only increased.
I feel like I'm being gaslighted when management tells me it comes with the territory after they recently promoted me. IMO a promotion means new challenges/new stretch goals. Dedicating extra time or struggling to find time for all of the work assigned to me is not being challenged in the right way, and is just a sign of bad management (poor planning, cheapness etc.)
I finally burnt out a few months ago, and it was either an epiphany or I'm still burnt out. I refuse to work more than 8-9 hours a day now, but the problem of too much work is only getting worse because I'm getting less done. I think the only way out of this predicament is to find another job.
We used to ask question anonymously in meeting nowadays all questions needs to be asked in GF current so people started using this forum
I felt it's bad because of team spread across usa,Singapore, dresdan and India. People in Singapore schedule meeting in early morning or late night us hours and vice versa.
Majority of organization structure also created this non sense as some one in usa will report to Singapore and vice versa.
Having local manager and local team will definitely help work life balance
