Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

I thought we were done with high school

Because lately, it certainly feels like we're not. If you're not part of the main clique you're screwed. It doesn't matter if you are the most experienced person in your team, the promotion will go to the person who's spending all their breaks chatting with the manager and gossiping about everybody else. It's freaking ridiculous.

Not like Kelly and his down home bozos didn’t do the same thing?
Look at the useless legions of ELP or whatever they were called. Undergrads from middling Bible Belt state schools.
Yep….the best of the best. Just ask uncle Kelly.

W/re to “ capable people have quit their jobs”, it will be interesting to see how well an organization does when it’s staffed incapable, toadies.

All the jobs are rigged, even if you are the best choice. Have you noticed, they don't promote within, but promote whoever they please from the list of brown noses that give accolades to their managers all day long. Management takes a seemingly simple task and elevate it to a level so unnecessary that people actual quit, good people, kind, capable people have quit their jobs because of this absurdity. It's an embarrassment to all who partake in these mindless games.
