These people are giving you bad advice. Don’t email or tell anyone, just quit showing up. You can collect two paychecks for a long time. I’ve been doing this for 18 months now and either no one noticed or my supervisor doesn’t want to tell his supervisor that another one of his employees resigned. Worst case, they’ll eventually figure it out and quit paying you.
Tell your supervisor that you are resigning. The BTC has a 30-day notice period. That’s short. When you quit your next company, it may be 30, 60, or 90 days.
@OP Do you really not know how to quit a job?
There’s lots of ways you can do this. The most professional way is to give two weeks notice. The least professional way is to “ghost”. If you don’t need your current manager for a reference, the no-notice quit is the best option. Go to work, turn in your badge/laptop/etc, then walk out.
Sorry but, if you can’t figure that out without posting here then you deserve your fate of working here
Go to your manager, and give them
Your two day Notice. Tell them you’re leaving to-day.
Tell your boss you're quiting.
For a company that only hires the best and brightest there sure are some d-mbshits.
1) Send an email to supervisor, 2) Post cube photo, 3) Start work somewhere that values people
Yep send and email to supervisor and mgr.
Don't be surprised if you are escorted out before the day you thought would be your last day. Its happened.
Good luck with your new job.
Don’t let the door hit you on way out. If you are leaving within month of joining, your college will be black-balled
Email manager giving last day of employment. That’s it. Enjoy your new job.
