Sooooo when they as leaders you can't accept a doctors note from an emoloyee, because we're not doctors; how is that different from saying get vaccinated or if you catch covid we won't pay you? If you are not a doctor don't tell employees what to do with their health. Meanwhile still a free for all for the customers. So if I get sick because a covid positive customer comes into the store, I'm still the as----e right?

We were told to expect a company mandate coming in Nov
You still get paid if you get covid and are out sick. You only have to go unpaid or use vaca time if you are on a quarantine based on exposure and are not vaccinated.
Actually you pontificating as----e I go to work every day. Never call out sick, and don't take much vacation. Anyone who is doing that should be fired. See that is the real problem. Verizon is too scared to fire people. You violate Code of Conduct for a serious violation. You get fired. Pretty simple policy. We all agreed to follow those rules, and they remind you ever year so your fault if you violate them. I have not as far as I know had Covid, nor have ever shown any legitimate serious symptoms in the now coming on 2 years of this. I am not vaccinatesd, and yet here I am. 70% of people who die from Covid are obese, so maybe you should go picket outside a McDonald's restaurant and stop telling me how to live my life. Again 2 years now with no shot, and no covid. I feel that I shouldn't live my life afraid of a virus with a 1.6% current mortality rate, but if you want to stay cloistered in your apartment like Howie from the Bench Warmers be my guest. On thar note go get your booster shot, and take your vaccine and pound it up your a-s.
Agreed, this should be called the vaccine shot (like the flu shot).
Vaccines prevent someone from catching the virus or the disease it is meant for. Clearly this is not a vaccine. People that get it still catch covid. So many lawsuits are about to come out. Our entire team is quitting soon as they make this official. We aren't giving notice either.
Yes, that makes you the a*%ho-e. And the ignorant one. You have the opportunity to protect yourself from serious symptoms, and choose not to do so. I think your real issue is that now you can’t say you are running a fever and get five free days with pay with the only thing you have to do is to get a test on day five.
If you get vaccinated, those free days stay put, if not, they don’t, make your choice.
